Creating Change for Wastepreneurs

Through the WT4E Association’s relationships, Mina Cup and the Drakenstein Municipality were able to improve the quality of life for the female informal waste pickers, or wastepreneurs. At a ceremony held at the Drakenstein Muncipality chamber, attended by dignatories from far and wide, a presentation was made and 50 Mina menstruation cups were distributed. This shall make a huge difference in the lives of the wastepreneurs as well as make a very small start on reducing the amount of sanitary waste generated.
